Customization Process FAQs
Q1: Can you develop new bag designs for me?
Yes. USL has a design team of 11 designers, and develops over 1,100 bag designs annually. We can fully customize bag designs for you based on your ideas, reference samples, or sketches.
Q2: What information do I need to provide before bag development?
Please provide information such as the bag’s style, size, material, color, logo, pocket structure, and order quantity.
Q3: Will you keep my design artwork confidential?
Yes. We strictly protect all client designs and are happy to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA). And we will not send your design artwork to others without your permission.
Q4: Will you send us digital design files for confirmation before production?
Yes. We will send you the digital technical pack after the designer has created or revised it for confirmation. After confirmation, we will proceed with sampling then mass production.
Q5: What format of design artwork do I need to send you?
If possible, please send us your original files in PDF, PSD, or other formats.
Q6: How do I send the original files?
Please send your files to our email address wendy@uslint.com. If your file size is too large, you can send them to us via WeTransfer.
Q1: What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ) for custom bags?
The MOQ for most custom bags is 300 pieces. The MOQ may vary for some styles; you can contact us for the specific MOQ for that particular bag.
Q2: What is the production cycle for custom bags?
Sample development usually takes 7-14 days; the complexity and quantity of the order will affect the production cycle, generally between 5 and 8 weeks.
Q3: What is the ordering process?
Step 1: Request a quotation. Send us your requirements, such as custom materials, custom logo, and order quantity.
Step 2: Sampling. After receiving the sample payment, we will complete the sample production within 2 weeks according to your requirements.
Step 3: Production. After the sample is approved, we will complete mass production within 2 months.
Step 4: Shipping. After confirming the delivery time with you, we will ship via air freight, sea freight, or express delivery.
Q4: What customization options do you offer?
We offer a wide variety of customization options, including colors, materials, sizes, logos, and packaging.
Q5:What materials do you offer?
We offer a wide range of materials, including nylon, polyester, canvas, cotton, TPU, PVC, mesh, Cordura, X-PAC, Rip-stop fabric, and more. Please send us your requirements.
Q6:Which logo or pattern printing methods can I choose?
You can choose from embroidery, screen printing, digital printing, heat transfer, appliqué, rubber, and more. We will recommend the appropriate printing method based on your bag design.
Q7:Can I order a sample before mass production?
Yes. You can order a sample to evaluate its workmanship and quality. Our existing samples are usually provided free of charge; custom designs will incur a sample fee. We can 100% refund the sample fee when the order reaches a certain quantity.
Q8:Can I cancel my order?
You can apply to cancel your order before production begins. However, if production has already started, cancellation will incur charges for completed processes. Please note that sample orders are non-refundable.
Q9:Do you accept rush orders?
Yes. We will try our best to meet your rush order needs based on production capacity and specific requirements. Please contact us for details.
Q1: What shipping methods do you support for sample orders?
We support express delivery such as UPS, DHL, FedEx, or TNT for sample shipments. Delivery to your location takes approximately 5-7 days.
Q2: Can I use my own freight forwarder?
Yes. You can choose to use your own freight forwarder; we offer EXW and FOB terms.
Q3:What shipping methods are available for bulk orders?
For bulk orders, we usually arrange sea freight, which is the most cost-effective option. But it takes longer. We can also arrange air or rail freight.
Q4: Can you ship my order to different locations?
Yes. Please inform us in advance and send us your different addresses so we can pack and ship separately. We also have rich experience in working with global brands customers and ship the goods to their global licensees frenquently.
Q1: What payment methods do you accept?
We support T/T, PayPal, L/C, and Western Union.
Q2:Is a prepayment required?
Yes. A 30% deposit is required when order is confirmed, and the remaining 70% is due before shipment.
Q1: What factors should be considered when looking for a custom bag manufacturer?
When looking for a custom bag manufacturer in China, you need to consider their expertise, design capabilities, customization capabilities, production capacity, and after-sales service to ensure they can meet your needs.
Q2: What types of bags can you manufacture?
USL has a diverse product line. We can produce travel bags, hiking bags, mountaineering bags, waterproof bags, hunting bags, running vests, running belts, bike bags, gym bags, ski bags, etc.
Q3: How do you guarantee quality during the production process?
At USL, quality control is implemented throughout the entire project process.
In addition to having skilled workers and advanced production equipment, we have quality control personnel on each production line. They need to inspect material quality, sewing precision, and overall craftsmanship. Furthermore, QC prepare daily quality reports and submit them to the production management and sales teams to ensure consistent quality control throughout the production process.
For final inspection after packing, we always apply for AQL2.5 to check the products and sending detailed inspection report to our customers.

Yes. The complexity of the design relates to the materials, processes, and labor costs used, all of which affect the final price of the custom bag. We will provide a detailed quote based on the specific design.
